Configure system settings

An administrator configures global system settings including company branding, currency, date/time formats, security policies, and business rule thresholds.

When this happens: Admin navigates to Admin — Settings — General.

Step by step

    Go to Admin — Settings — General.

    EasyCRM shows settings grouped into sections: — Branding: Company Name, Company Logo (upload). — Regional: Default Currency (ISO 4217), Currency Symbol, Date Format, Time Format, System Timezone (IANA), Fiscal Year Start Month. — Security: Session Timeout, Refresh Token Lifetime, Session Mode, Max Login Attempts, Lockout Duration, Password Max Age. — Business Rules: Discount Approval Threshold (%), Quote Validity (days), Invoice Payment Terms (days), Auto-Close Resolved Tickets (days), MQL Score Threshold. — Display: Default Pagination (25/50/100).

    Changes Date Format from MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY Sets Discount Approval Threshold to 20%.

    Click Save.

    EasyCRM checks inputs (within allowed ranges). EasyCRM saves to SystemConfiguration table. Changes take effect immediately (no restart). With old and new values for each changed setting.

Other paths

Configure predefined dropdown lists

Go to Admin — Settings — Predefined Lists. EasyCRM shows configurable lists: Lead Source, Industry, Loss Reason, Ticket Category, Company Size, Lifecycle Stage. Select Lead Source Adds Webinar Renames Cold Call to Outbound Call Deactivates Other Saves. Deactivated option retained on existing records but hidden from new record dropdowns.

Configure pipeline stages

Go to Admin — Settings — Pipeline Stages. EasyCRM shows current stages in order. Admin can add, rename, reorder, and deactivate stages (per FR-03-019/020).

If something goes wrong

Invalid value

Admin enters Session Timeout = 0. Validation: Session Timeout must be between 1 and 24 hours

Logo upload too large

Logo file exceeds allowed size. Logo must be under 2 MB. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG

Good to know

  • All settings changes take effect immediately.
  • Currency change applies to new records only (no retroactive conversion).
  • Predefined list options cannot be deleted if in use — only deactivated.
  • At least one option must remain in each predefined list.
