View entity activity timeline

A user views the chronological timeline of all activities linked to any CRM entity.

When this happens: You open an entity detail page (Contact, Company, Opportunity, Lead, Ticket).

Step by step

    Open an entity detail page (e.g. Contact detail).

    EasyCRM loads and displays the Activity Timeline section: reverse chronological, paginated (first 20 entries, Load More button). Each timeline entry displays: type icon, type badge, subject (clickable), author + avatar, date/time (relative ≤ 7 days, absolute beyond), description preview (first 200 chars), direction badge (for Calls/Emails), duration (for Calls/Meetings), task status badge (for Tasks), other linked entities. System-generated events (e.g. Stage changed from Lead to Qualified, Ownership changed) also appear with a System badge.

    Scroll through activities. Clicks Load More for older entries.

Other paths

Filter by activity type

Click filter toggle buttons: All, Calls, Emails, Meetings, Notes, Tasks. Timeline refreshes to show only the selected type.

Inline edit/delete

Click Edit on their own activity in the timeline — opens the edit form. Click Delete — confirmation — activity removed from timeline. LastActivityDate on linked entities recalculated.

Global activity feed

Open Activity Feed from main navigation or dashboard widget. EasyCRM shows latest 50 activities across all accessible records, filterable by type and date range.

Good to know

  • Timeline is reverse chronological (newest first).
  • Only activities on records the you can view are shown.
  • Deleting an activity recalculates LastActivityDate on linked entities.
