Manage contact consent

A user records, views, or withdraws marketing consent for a Contact. Consent status controls whether the Contact receives campaign and drip-sequence emails.

When this happens: (A) User records consent manually. (B) Landing page form submission. (C) Contact unsubscribes.

Step by step

    Open Contact detail page. Consent section shows current status: Consent Given: No or Consent Given: Yes (since [date], source: [source]).

    Click Record Consent.

    Form: Source (dropdown: Manual Entry, Verbal Confirmation, Written Consent, Other). Date (default: now).

    Select source: Verbal Confirmation Clicks Save.

    EasyCRM updates Contact:. Audit log entry: consent change recorded in Contact audit history.

During CSV import, if the import includes a consent column, consent is recorded with .

Unsubscribe via email link

Click Unsubscribe link in a marketing email. Sets and . EasyCRM shows confirmation page. Contact excluded from all future campaign/drip sends.

View consent history

On Contact detail page — Audit History tab — filters by Consent changes. EasyCRM shows complete consent change timeline with dates, sources, and who made each change.
