Configure lead scoring rules

Admin or Marketing User defines scoring rules that automatically adjust lead scores based on field matches, activities, and email engagement.

When this happens: You go to Marketing — Lead Scoring — Add Rule.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Go to Lead Scoring configuration.

EasyCRM shows existing rules with columns: Rule Name, Condition Type, Condition, Points, Frequency (Once/Every Time), Enabled.

  2. 2

    Click Add Rule.

EasyCRM shows rule form: Condition Type (Field Match, Activity Performed, Email Engagement, Inactivity), Condition (specifics per type), Points (−50 to +50), Frequency (Once or Every Time).

  3. 3

Configure a rule, e.g.: Type = Email Engagement, Condition = Clicked link in email, Points = +5, Frequency = Every Time.

  4. 4

    Click Save.

Rule saved and active immediately for real-time triggers. Inactivity rules evaluated nightly.

Other paths

Configure mql threshold

Go to System Configuration — Lead Scoring. Sets MQL Threshold (1–100, default 50). New threshold applies to all future score evaluations.

Disable a rule

Toggles a rule to Disabled Rule no longer evaluated. Existing scores are not retroactively changed.

If something goes wrong

Points out of range

Points value outside −50 to +50. EasyCRM shows: Points must be between −50 and +50

Good to know

  • Score range is 0–100 (clamped at boundaries).
  • Rules are evaluated in real-time for events and nightly for inactivity.
  • MQL auto-qualification does not fire for "Disqualified" or "Converted" leads.
  • Score history is immutable and append-only.
